Company Background

Our parent company, Shinryo Corporation in Tokyo, Japan is Asia’s Engineering Leader in Electro-Mechanical Works.  It is backed by 50 years of experience since it was established in February 1956. From then on, it has pioneered innovations in heating, ventilation and air conditioning systems and has earned and maintained its reputation as an industry leader not only in Japan, but in other parts of Asia as well as it expanded its network. 

SPCI has been listed and was among the Top 1000 Corporations in the Philippines.  We’ve come a long way since we first came to the Philippines in 1979 as a Mechanical Contractor for JICA-financed project, the Research Institute of Tropical Medicines located in Alabang, Muntinlupa which was completed in 1980. In 1986, we came back to the country as a nominated sub-contractor for the supply and installation of the Mechanical Ventilation and Air Conditioning (MVAC) Systems for no less than Asian Development Bank (ADB) Headquarters.

When we became an affiliate of Shinryo Corporation on September 1990, the Manila Diamond Hotel in Roxas Boulevard, Manila was among our first projects. Soon came a breakthrough… the Manila Design Center was established as a design section not only to complement the Manila office but also to cater to all Asian branch offices and affiliates of Shinryo Corporation International Division.

Now for more than two decades, we have successfully completed numerous projects in partnership with various foreign and local General Contractors.  From airports, to automotive assembly plants, hotels, prestigious offices and high-rise buildings, clean rooms and hospitals.

Seizing new frontiers overseas

Shinryo Philippines has started to take on overseas projects since 2002.  We provided engineering support for the Renovation of Palau Pacific Resort in Micronesia, and currently we are working for the Venetian Macau Resort Hotel in Macau SAR, China. The establishment last July 2006 of SPCI (Macau) Engenharai Limitada, a subsidiary of SPCI, anticipates the development of more casino hotels and resort and the construction boom in the area.
