Ibiden Second Project completed right on time!

Despite the fast track nature of the Ibiden Second Factory Project, Shinryo was able to hand it over successfully and on time last September 15, 2006. The electronics factory project, done on a design and build set-up, ran for a total of nine months.  The design work began last January 2006 while the actual site work started in March. The project was done in partnership with general contractor Kajima Philippines Inc. 

Shinryo's scope of work for the new 63,500 sq.m. Second Factory includes the MVAC System, Plumbing System, Fire Protection System and Mechanical Process System. 

Shinryo was also commissioned to do the Core Clean Room for the Second Factory and the Process Systems Common Supports. The Clean Room, a Class 1,900 sq. m. 10K facility utilized Class 100 clean room interior finishes for panels, grating raised floor and ceiling system. The project was completed within five months including design work and was handed over the same time as the Main Factory. Meanwhile, the Process Systems Common Supports, a comprehensive network of overhead catwalk and process system supports designed to systematically carry Ibiden's various process systems, was completed within two months.

Given the limited time allotted for the project, Shinryo appointed two project managers and two separate project teams to ensure on-time completion. Mr. Toru Miki was PM for the Main Production Building and Common Building while Mr. Ronald Ponce was PM for the Core Clean Room and Process Common Supports.

BREAKTHROUGH: Shinryo Philippines is partnering with world class Taisei Construction Inc.!

For the first time, Shinryo is partnering with Taisei Philippine Construction, Inc., Taisei is among the renowned construction companies around the world. Shinryo has worked with Taisei for numerous projects in other countries, but not yet in the Philippines.

The project titled WMP Factory 2006 is a 9,530 sq.m. tool factory located in FCIE, Cavite is due for completion on May 2007 (8 months) will be done on a Design and Build set up.

Shinryo scope of work will be the MVAC System, Fire Protection System, Plumbing System and Process Piping System. Mr. Rolando Ortigosa was appointed as Project Manager and the team is set to mobilize by end of October.
